Our Place
Established 2012.

Thirteen years of stories.
We’re a South Freo local, built on good food and familiar faces.
Run Amuk opened its doors on South Terrace in 2012 with a simple idea: make proper, handcrafted hot dogs and serve them in a place that felt welcoming and real. What started as a small local spot quickly became part of the South Fremantle rhythm.
Over the years, people have grown up here — first dates, post-beach feeds, family lunches, late-afternoon cravings. Some have been coming back since the beginning. Others discovered us somewhere along the way. All of them have helped shape what Run Amuk is today.
One Dog No Hands
It’s an annual tradition. A rite of passage. And crowd favourite.
One Dog No Hands began as part of the Chilli Dawg launch — a way to mark the moment each July by doing what Run Amuk does best: running amuk and having a laugh. The rules are simple: One hot dog. No hands. No mercy.
Now in its 14th year, it’s become the most anticipated day on the Run Amuk calendar. Locals pack in. Legends are crowned. The crowd gets loud. And for a few glorious moments, dignity is optional.
